The Acadiana Wreckin Rams did what they needed to do to come out with a 21-0 win over Lafayette Christian, stumbling over penalties and turnovers along the way in their season kickoff game.
Acadiana scored on their first possession, a 6-yard touchdown run by Tyvin Zeno. That would be the only score until just about a minute left in the game.

A late touchdown run by QB Jerimiah Brown and a Drai Anthony fumble return for a touchdown sealed the victory.
Cornerback (Drai Anthony, I think, per roster I see) with the fourth-down interception for #Acadiana.
Still 1:55 left.
Doesn’t completely ice away the 7-0 win, but certainly sets the offense up to do so. pic.twitter.com/v8m42MMR4p

The Rams’ Sophomore RB Keven Williams had a good night with 9 rushes for 116 yards.

The Knights had their opportunities, including three trips to the Acadiana Red Zone. However, all three drives ended with an interception. QB Ryan Roberts was injured after their first drive and was out for the rest of the game.
