In the fourth installment of our series ‘Race in Sports’ the Upside broaches the subject from a slightly different perspective as we look at the sport of college baseball and HBCU’s. We welcome legendary coaches Roger Cador and Claudell Clark.
Coach Cador is the ‘John Thompson’ of college baseball when it comes to black leadership. He is also a member of a Major League Baseball task force to improve African-American participation in the sport.
Claudell Clark is currently in his 13th season as head coach of Norfolk State University and the Executive Director of the Hampton Roads Sports commission.
