Starting Thursday, September 23rd, GameTime and the Ford Game are back this week with six more top high school football matchups. Here are the games for this week:
- Broken Arrow Tigers vs Westmoore Jaguars (Oklahoma)
- John Ehret Patriots vs West Jefferson Buccaneers (Louisiana)
- Owasso Rams vs Union (Oklahoma)
- Notre Dame Saints vs Brophy Broncos (Arizona)
- Papillion La Vista Monarchs vs Elkhorn South Storm (Omaha, NE)
- Manhattan Indians vs Topeka Trojans (Kansas)

Oklahoma high school football: Broken Arrow Tigers vs Westmoore Jaguars – Thursday, September 23 at 7:00 pm CT.
The Tigers and Jaguars are looking to get back on track after slow starts this season. It’s also the 6A-I-1 district opener for both teams.
Broken Arrow (1-2) opened the season with a 42-13 victory over Mansfield Legacy. Since then, the Tigers have lost two in a row to Union and Owasso.
Westmoore (1-2) lost their first two to McKinney North (Texas) and Moore. The Jaguars rebounded in week three with a 35-14 victory over Southmoore. Westmoore and Broken Arrow are both coming off a bye week.

Louisiana high school football: John Ehret Patriots vs West Jefferson Buccaneers – Friday, September 24 at 7:00 pm CT.
Both teams come into the game only playing one game so far this season, and both are looking for their first win of the season.
The West Jefferson Buccaneers (0-0) haven’t played since their Jamboree week 18-0 preseason loss to an East St. John team ranked #8 in 5A/4A large school standings. The Patriots (0-1) lost to Archbishop Shaw 7-0 last week.

Oklahoma High School Football: Owasso Rams vs Union – Friday, September 24 at 7:00 pm CT.
⭐ Player Profile: Owasso Quarterback Embraces Leadership Role For Rams
The winner of this game will be considered the favorite to win the district title. Both teams have combined to win three of the past five Class 6AI state titles. Union has won six of the past nine meetings, but Owasso is 3-1 in the last four games.
The Rams are 3-0 on the season, averaging 45 points a game. According to MaxPreps, Owasso is the #3 ranked team in the state – behind Bixby and Jenks. The Rams have wins over Edmond Santa Fe (45-22), Fayetteville, AR (48-42), and Broken Arrow (42-3).
Union is 2-1 and coming off a bye week. Their only loss was to Jenks in the annual Backyard Bowl. Union Cornerback Jayden Rowe is committed to the University of Oklahoma.

Arizona high school football: Notre Dame Saints vs Brophy Broncos – Friday, September 24 at 7:00 pm MT (9:00 pm CT).

- Crusade on the Gridiron: Saints and Broncos prepare for War
When these two teams met for the first time last season, Notre Dame Prep got the win 28-10. This game has been dubbed the new “Holy War” as the two schools are both members of the Diocese of Phoenix.
Notre Dame Prep (1-1) is coming off a bye week, while Brophy (1-2) is coming off a tough 37-12 loss to Basha last week.

Friday, Sept. 24, 2021 – Omaha GameTime
Omaha, Nebraska high school football: Papillion La Vista Monarchs vs Elkhorn South Storm – Friday, September 24 at 7:00 pm CT.
This game opens district play for both teams. Papillion La Vista is even at 2-2 and only lost to powerhouse Omaha Westside by 3 points. The Monarchs have wins over Papillion La Vista South and Norfolk.
After reaching the state title game a year ago, the Storm look solid again this season. They come into the game with a 3-1 record, only losing 33-7 to undefeated Millard South.

Friday, Sept. 24, 2021 – Kansas GameTime Matchup
Kansas high school football: Manhattan Indians vs Topeka Trojans – Friday, September 24th at 7:00 pm CT.
Topeka High (1-2) is celebrating its 150th year of operation this year, and the showdown against the Indians will be Homecoming for the Trojans. They beat Emporia last week 28-20 for their first win of the season after falling to Junction City in week 1 and Washburn Rural in week 2.
Last Week, Manhattan (3-0) destroyed Highland Park 70-0. Gannett high school sports writers rank the Indians #5 in Class 6A. Their other two wins are Garden City in week 1 by a score of 21-6 and Junction City in week 2, 37-21.
