Saturday night’s NCAA Tournament semi-final between UCLA and unbeaten Gonzaga will go down as one of the best Final Four games ever. You had all the drama coming into the contest.
The Zags trying to make history and run the table and be the first team to accomplish such a feat since 1976. The Bruins coming in as the biggest underdog in a Final Four game in 25 years getting as many as 14 points on the strip. UCLA played a flawless game to force overtime. As it looked like a 2nd overtime was in order, Jalen Suggs jacks-up a 35 footer off-glass to send Gonzaga to the finals while preserving perfection. Wow!
After such a dramatic finish, does Spokane’s finest have any gas in the tank to take on the Big 12’s Baylor Bears? Even Vegas has trimmed back the line thinking that Baylor is in with more than a fighting chance for the upset. That line was trimmed from -6 pregame to -4.5 after Saturday night.
Our resident experts Victor Howell and analyst Adam Finkelstein are here with their final Advance to Indianapolis installment to break it down offering a few keys to the game. Is an upset in order?
Here’s our own Danielle Alvari with a closer look at the lines and props for the title game.
