The Salvation Army’s mission is to feed, clothe, comfort, care, and rebuild broken homes and broken lives. “Hope Village is designed to provide women and their children, and single women who find themselves shelterless, with a place to restore their dignity and self-esteem, and give them an opportunity to in essence rebuild their lives after having experienced homelessness” states Major James Allison, Area Commander of the Salvation Army’s Hampton Roads Area Command.
