Paul Biancardi, ESPN’s National Recruiting Director, is a busy man these days.
The final ESPN 100 hasn’t been released quite yet, but Biancardi is about to announce the list, the final time the class of ’20 will be ranked. He joined Adam Finkelstein on The Upside podcast to discuss recent developments on the basketball recruiting. (Including Jalen Green’s decision to skip college for the G-League.) They also look at some of the players sure to top the final rankings for the class of 2020.
Green, the talented shooting guard, was on top of the most recent ESPN100 rankings. USC commit Evan Mobley (Rancho Christian School) and Oklahoma State signee Cade Cunningham (Montverde Academy) rounded out the top 3.
Both Green and former Michigan commit Isaiah Todd (Word of God Christian Academy) have decided to sign with the G League, shaking up the college classes & NCAA basketball in general. While the G League missed out on Texas PF Greg Brown, the league’s made it clear they’ll be actively recruiting more top prospects, causing a huge shakeup in basketball recruiting moving forward.
