The Howard-Bech Connection
Cougar QB Walker Howard might be the son of former LSU QB Jamie Howard, but he plays like a guy determined to forge his own legacy. He’s one of the nation’s top quarterback prospects in the Class of 2022 and is already committed to his Dad’s alma mater.
Howard’s chemistry with Bech, who’s headed to Vanderbilt in the fall, is undeniable. The first-half stats were mind-bending.
Unoiffically, Walker Howard 15 of 23 for 200 yards and 3 TDa in the first half for STM; Jack Bech 7 catches for 179 yards and 1 TD #LHSAA @AdvocateSports

Player of the Game: Jack Bech
Bech ended the night with 10 receptions for 224 yards and two touchdowns. He was undeniably the player of the game for the Cougars, making plays on both sides of the ball.
A Great Game Among Great Friends
The Bears brought a range of playmakers to the field in this narrow loss, including Emery Jones, Landon O’Connor, George Hart III, Shelton Sampson and Michael Cerniauskas.
This is what it's all about! Two great ones QB Walker Howard of St. Thomas More and OL Emery Jones of Catholic High.
Very good friends off of the field. Future #LSU teammates in class of 2022? pic.twitter.com/W4hGM3lB5j
