Israel Cervantes plays for the Pioneers Football team at West Wichita High School as a linebacker. He’s a role model for the younger players and enjoys the comradery of being on a team.
Israel Cervantes – Pioneers Football – West Wichita High School – (00:07) I would describe myself as a play as a big brother. I usually help out the younger guys on what to do, especially to the freshmen help them out how to do the drills and stuff like that.
IC (00:21) What I enjoy most about football is that the grind that you get with the team players, the connection you build with the coaches, the managers and everyone else.

He first started playing four years ago, he gave it a try, he loved it. On top of him loving it, he had a lot of success on the field. So that helped motivate him to get better.
