NEW ORLEANS – At one point, fans from around the NFL thought that they were witnessing another epic Atlanta Falcon collapse. Unfortunately for the New Orleans Saints, it didn’t go that way.
With a little over 10 minutes remaining in the game, Atlanta held a 24-6 lead. Over the next nine minutes, the Saints rallied back to take their first lead of the game at 25-24 with only 1:01 left. Matt Ryan quickly took the Falcons into Saints territory and Koo Younghoe belted a 29-yard field goal at the buzzer to take home a 27-25 win.
Saints quarterback Trevor Siemian got off to a slow start but go hot late. Siemian finished with 249 yards in the air with two touchdowns. Alvin Kamara led the team in rushing yards (50) and receiving yards (54).
