The New Orleans Saints relied heavy on the defense and they sure did deliver Sunday against the Carolina Panthers. Defensive end Cameron Jordan’s 3.5 sacks help lead the Saints to an 18-10 win and keep the 8-8 Saints in the hunt for a playoff spot with one game remaining in the regular season.

Kicker Brett Maher helped the Saints hold on to a 12-10 lead after three quarters before Alvin Kamara was able to get into the endzone for the first touchdown of the day. Kamara received a 12-yard swing pass from Taysom Hill to account for the final score.
