NASHVILLE – Sunday against the Tennessee Titans, the New Orleans Saints entered the day minus some serious firepower. Without the likes of Alvin Kamara, Terron Armstead, Michael Thomas and Jameis Winston, the Saints had to rely on quarterback Trevor Siemian and the return of Mark Ingram.
Even without all those stars, the shorthanded Saints mounted a late comeback that fell short 23-21. The Saints were also on the wrong end of a questionable call and two missed extra points.
In the loss, the Saints did make a little history. Ingram surpassed Saints Hall of Famer Deuce McAllister’s career rushing yards record.
