New Orleans Saints rookie quarterback Ian Book’s first start of his career might not be one that he wants to remember. Book, who was thrust into the starting lineup against the Miami Dolphins due to COVID protocol in the QB room, saw his first NFL pass picked off and run for a touchdown.

The Saints could never fully recover and dropped a 20-3 decision at home on Monday night in the Caesars Superdome.

The Saints defense was stellar as always. They only allowed the Dolphins 259 total yards on the night and harassed quarterback Tua Tagovailoa all night. Tagovailoa was picked off once and was sacked three times.
