The Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles has recently released a series of engaging videos helping demonstrate speed safety while driving.
Jillian Cowherd from the DMV joined Patricia to discuss speeding and why it effects our travel!
In fact, this year over 370 people have lost their lives when it comes to getting in a high speed crash.
It was important for the DMV to produce these videos to reach their target audience when it comes to those most likely to disregard the speed limit.
Studies show that most of the people who got into high speed crashes, thought it would never happen to them. It’s imperative to follow the speed limit law!
Allow extra time for holiday travel, try not to stress if you’re going to be late, and most importantly- be attentive and aware of your surroundings when you are behind the wheel of a motor vehicle.
