It’s no secret that seatbelts save lives, and friend of the show John Saunders from the DMV visited virtually to tell us more.
The seatbelt is designed to save your life, but it will only do so if it is worn correctly!
The statistics improve significantly for people in both the front and back seats, when people wear their seatbelt.
John tells Quincy that as drivers, we have to be firm with our passengers: either buckle up, or find another way to reach the destination! Don’t even pull out of your driveway until all of your passengers are correctly fastened in their seatbelts.
This includes children who are too young to buckle themselves in their carseats. As adults, it is your responsibility to ensure you know how to correctly buckle your children into their carseat seatbelt.
