In the past, mental health has been a somewhat taboo topic. More recently, it has been front and center when it comes to health ailments.
Mental health includes emotional, psychological and social well-being. It impacts how we think, feel, and how we respond to different circumstances.
At Riverside Behavioral Health Center, they try to treat the whole person- and they have a variety of treatment options for adults. Some patients come in voluntarily and some have to come stay for their own safety or the safety of others.
Riverside Behavioral Health also takes care of adolescents ages 12-18 on their inpatient side. They receive the highest level of care, and have access to many medical professionals throughout their stay.
