Regent University is a beautiful campus nestled in the heart of Virginia Beach.
Our friend Barry McKay from our sister show Career Hunters had the chance to visit the Regent campus. He had an amazing tour guide- their Welcome Center Manager, Julia Lauto.
Regent University dates all the way back to 1978, when it went by “CBN University.” It was just a graduate school at that time!
In 1990, it became Regent University- and that is when all of their undergraduate programs were added to their course catalogue.
There are about 11,000 students total at Regent- some of them attend in person, and some of them attend online from all over the world!
There are a little over 150 areas of study, in almost any subject you can think of. In fact, US News & World Report just awarded Regent the designation of #1 Best Online Bachelor’s Program in Virginia!
Julia walks Barry to Robertson Hall, where she shows him the Moot Court Room. This is where law students at the university can practice their courtroom skills!
Watch the full video to see the rest of Barry’s tour, and to hear about all of the wonderful guidance tools Regent offers their students.
If you are a student and you are looking into colleges, be sure to look into becoming a Regent University Royal!
