The holiday season is always a beautiful and fun time of year. The parties, the family gatherings, the shopping are all abundant especially during the month of December!
This also means there are more people utilizing our roadways, which inevitably means more accidents.
Our friend Attorney Brad Huffman from Huffman & Huffman joined Patricia and Quincy in the studio to give some tips on keeping you and your family safe this holiday season.
Attorney Huffman’s number one tip for drivers?
DO NOT DRIVE DISTRACTED!
Put your phone down, it’s not worth the risk.
He also emphasizes that it’s important to remember that driving after having even a little bit to drink, isn’t worth the risk.
Brad also lets us know that some of our insurance laws in Virginia are changing starting in January!
For years, the minimum insurance coverage required in Virginia has been $25,000. Starting in January of 2025, the minimum required coverage is $50,000.
