From now until Dec 7th, Medicare recipients may enroll in health plans or change their health plans. Changes will become effective January 1st of 2024.

For those unsure of where to start, there are 2 main types of coverage:
Original Medicare, or Medicare A and Medicare B, which covers hospitalization and medical insurance respectively.
As a complement, Sentara is now offering Medicare Advantage Plans which include A,B, plus prescription drugs with other other value added benefits.
