Get More than the Minimum Coverage
Our expert Randy from Huffman & Huffman also points out a common mistake when it comes to auto insurance: often times people just get the minimum coverage!
This is a mistake because often when an accident is bad, the medical bills alone can far exceed the minimum coverage thresholds. That would make YOU responsible for coming up with the money for the rest of the bill.
The laws regarding insurance changed recently. This allows you to stack your coverage on top of the insurance of whoever is at fault in an accident. Huffman & Huffman recommends taking advantage of this new law, and increasing your pay out after an accident.
