But first, let’s talk about the current events in the 757 and get you up to speed with the effects of COVID 19 right here in Hampton Roads. Please keep in mind, the statistics and regulations are changing drastically, so visit the CDC’s website for the most up to date information! Be sure to share your photos of how you are Livin it Up @ HOME to Share@Living757.com so we can see how our neighbors are living this quarantine life.
Quincy takes the time to Throw Some Shade to those that have vexed him in the past week. Check out his irritations, brought to you by Awnings by Bigley & Hogshire!
We then take a look back at when we put Quincy to the test to see if he could complete his own home inspection in his crawl space… It did not go well, so we brought in the pros from Priority Pest.
After seeing Quincy get down and dirty, we decided this would be an opportune time to remind everyone about the importance of washing your hands during this crazy time! Our friends over at Brooke and Jubal in the Morning, from Energy 94.1, released this amazing parody that is sure to keep your hygiene in the front of your mind!
After our hosts caught a glimpse of this song, they decided to test their own hand washing skills, paired with modern songs to provide the perfect timing for a proper cleaning… Check it out!
Our next guests are competitive Irish dancers from The Walker Academy of Irish Dance! Watch as these ladies show us some traditional Irish dancing for St. Patrick’s Day!
Next, Ashley tests Quincy and Patricia’s knowledge on St. Patrick’s Day history and traditions…Quincy attempts to cheat and rig the system in his usual pursuit to glory. Who do you think will win this one?
Our next guest is Chef Jacoby Ponder, a Navy Veteran who is inspiring folks in Hampton Roads to start cooking! Chef stopped by to show us his pan seered salmon dish, talk about his history in the food industry, as well as his experience on Chopped and Cutthroat Kitchen!
We then look on the bright side and bring you some good news from around the country! While the world is going through such a tough and crazy time, we take a few minutes to highlight the helpers in the community that are doing their part during the Coronavirus crisis.
As we wrap up this week with a performance by our favorite local Irish inspired band, The Fighting Jamesons, we want to remind you to stay safe, stay healthy and stay positive! We will see you next week, 757!
