Not Your Average Orthodontist
Known to his patients as Dr. Frank, DeQauttro is a retired colonel in the United States Army Dental Corps who has served in the National Guard for the last 25 years and is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Prior to becoming a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry, Dr. DeQuattro was also a mechanical engineer. His time in engineering allowed him to work on some impressive projects for both NASA and the Department of Defense. He has also worked on the International Space Station and US submarine systems located at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center!
A lifetime of unique experiences and an impressive educational background contribute to making Dr. DeQuattro a top practicing orthodontist in his field.
Big on Community
On top of fostering a warm community within his practice, Dr. DeQuattro also takes the time to give back to those within the Rhode Island community and beyond.
When he isn’t working and caring for his three daughters, he teaches sailing instruction for the RI Special Olympics. He is also a youth soccer coach.
A former high school athlete, Dr. DeQuattro also sponsors many local Rhode Island youth sports teams from soccer to baseball and basketball.
With a firm belief in community and charity, Dr. DeQuattro has also volunteered his time and dental expertise to communities in Central America and the Caribbean which do not have access to dental care.
Personal Health and Well-Being
As a doctor who knows how important health is, Dr. DeQuattro maintains his own well-being with a love for fishing, running in local events, practicing yoga, boating and hiking. He has scaled the impressive heights of both Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa and Argentina’s Mt. Aconcagua.
Dr. DeQuattro certainly has many accomplishments of which to be proud, but his practice, which has given him the ability to help build and preserve the well being of a community of neighbors and friends, may just be his crowning achievement.
