DIY Tip – Sprucing up a room with some art work can make a big difference in the feel of a room. The experts at America Furniture Warehouse have some tips on art placement.
AFW’s Ashley Kaminski says the general rule of thumb for hanging art at eye level can be challenging since eye levels vary from person to person. The guideline she finds helpful is to hang the artwork about 6 to 8 inches above the furniture it is being hung above. Doing this puts the room together and makes it cohesive and everything flows. Having the correct placement for artwork can unify an entire space.
