Patricia, Quincy and Ashley start us off with a recap of the happenings in the world and filling us in on their busy lives.
Our first guests, motivational speaker Lauren Hope and national comedian Vernard Hines, break the stigma and discuss the reality of mental illness. Through sharing their stories of struggles and triumphs, Lauren and Vernard are bringing light to difficult situations and to show hope in the comfort that these situations can be defeated. Ashley then interviews Derrick Nnadi of the Kansas City Chiefs! This footballer, born and raised right here in the 757, is headed to the Super Bowl in Miami! Check out this exclusive interview to see how positive thinking has helped Derrick achieve his goals, as well as what life is like for the 23 year old super star headed to the big game!
We welcome Lisa Davenport, of Coastal Virginia Magazine, back to the show for a tour of Tarnished Truth. Go behind the scenes at this local distillery located in the “haunted” Cavalier at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. Here is your chance to check out the spirits and learn about the history of the hotel and the namesake of the distillery.
Let’s talk about Girl Power for a minute… Our next guests are four female entrepreneurs of Hampton Roads who are coming together to provide a Galentine’s Day event for our local ladies.
