Most people have no clue what they want to be when they grow up and many adults still struggle with this life altering decision well into their established careers! However, this is not the case for everyone. In fact, one young man knew he wanted to be a NASCAR driver before he had ever even driven a car!
After having a 4 wheeler at 4 years old, and his first motorcycle at 6, Howie DiSavino III had always felt that need for speed. He knew he wanted to go fast and begged his parents for a racecar when he was only 8 years old! Though they did make him wait a few years, his parents supported his dreams and knew Howie was determined and passionate about his future plans. Howie, now 19, made a plan and achieved his NASCAR dreams. He has been driving for 7 years now and is in fact a NASCAR driver with a number of sponsors, including our very own locally owned and operated Bud’s Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning and Electric.
However, Howie isn’t ready to settle just yet. He continues to race and improve season after season with his heart set on driving in the big leagues. Keep your eyes peeled for this young man as he is sure to be turning heads while turning laps in his future racing career.
