Kerian Koeman – Wicked Tulips 00:02
I feel like tulips are a sign of hope. You know, they come up in the spring, and they are so bright, so bright, vibrant, you really can’t help but be happy.
My husband calls them happy hormones. Like I think the endorphins just flood your system. It’s so beautiful here.

He’s always had the entrepreneurial spirit.
So when we met and started coming up with different ideas of what to do, the U-Pick was not even first on our mind. You know, like a classic new relationship, you talk about something and then he overbought so he basically took our lemons and made them into lemonade. He said, well we could do a U-Pick, I’ve thought about doing one. I thought it was going to be a complete disaster.
We saw like one or 2000 people on our farm that we were living on, and now it’s blossomed into what we aren’t what you guys see today.

Tulip Varieties
KK 1:15 We have 100 different varieties planted here. So that’s one of the things that we love about showcasing our tulips and showing people that it’s not just the old fashioned yellow, and red ones that you saw in grandma’s garden. We’re also doing our curbside pickup where you can pre order a fresh picked bouquet. They’re out picking this morning.
Yoga
KK 1:37 We’re continuing with the yoga we do live yoga in the in the in the fields. And we are also going to be doing some virtual yoga that you can watch on our YouTube channel.
U-Pick
KK 1:47 We are always trying to be creative and add things.
People love U-Pick and we’re super happy to be back this year being able to offer that. One of the things that makes us different is that you actually get to pick them. Usually you’re in somebody’s garden or you’re at a you know, a botanical garden, you’re not allowed to pick anything and people are like, “Oh my god, I can pick them”, like little kids again and they love it.
It’s really hard not to be happy here.
