Ever wondered what former NFL players do after they retire? Scott Shanle, a college football player for the Nebraska Cornhuskers, and NFL Linebacker, says, “It’s still pretty much football for him.”
He landed in New Orleans after a stint in Dallas with the Cowboys. He played seven years with Drew Brees and the Saints and that earned him a Super Bowl Ring. Now, he’s a television announcer for the Cox Sports Television’s Saints Gameday and Saints Tonight. Danielle Alvari called a time out long enough to catch up with Scott to find out he’s also lending a hand to a middle school football team.
