Can you share a brief history of your company with us?
I am the owner of Lady M Soul2Soul. I’ve been in the kitchen since the age of 12 years old! I learned how to cook from the best, my grandmother; the late Alberta Woods and my mother, the Late Blondell Holmes. I always had a passion to be in the kitchen to get “my hands dirty” and assist my grandmother and mother with several dishes. About 9 years ago I decided to take a leap of faith and started selling desserts out of my home. My ultimate goal is to Own a Food truck as well as a Family Restaurant so I can cater to my community.
What is your slogan and why is it your slogan?
“From My Heart to Your Soul” I chose this slogan because I truly cooks with a Heart of Love and a Heart of God. If you don’t taste the Love and Soul in my food, if you are not happy I am not happy! I will go above and beyond to make my wrongs Right!

What do you love most about what you do?
I am a servant and believe this is one of the many gifts God has allowed me to demonstrate in my business. The best part is serving and seeing smiles on my customers’ faces.
How did you get into this business?
I followed my passion and my dream. I took a leap of faith and Never looked back!
What’s the most important thing you do?
I serves my customers with professionalism, integrity, servitude and most of all
I cooks with a Heart of Love and a Heart of God!
What is your passion?
My passion is cooking “The Real Soul Food” although I prepare various southern desserts I would rather be in the kitchen preparing meals for hundreds of people! I like to Bake but I LOVE to cook!
What is your inspiration for continuing every day?
My inspiration is God, my father, my family and my supportive friends. I drive to push because I know one day I will fulfill my Ultimate dream of opening a local restaurant!
