On May 31, 2019….tragedy struck too close to home.
A shooting at the Virginia Beach Municipal Center left 12 dead and 4 injured and hospitalized. First responders were there in minutes. The shooter, who allegedly carried and armed with a 45-caliber handgun with a suppressor. to the scene, eventually was captured after a long and epic gun fight. Soon the suspect was shot and detained, but later died soon after.
Virginia Beach, although heart broken, truly came together after this tragic loss, and raised money for the Virginia Beach Tragedy fund that will go to the victims’ families who were affected.
