Nina, Keilah, and Danielle Lear found what it took to become part of an even greater sisterhood while attending recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, SC.
Each had her own reason to join, whether it was to defend her country, gain discipline, or reach a higher calling. Nina joined first feeling the need to serve her country before anything else; the others followed suit.
The Lear sisters graduated together on January 4th, 2019 with Platoon 4000, Oscar Company. They are on to serve our country together!
Hometown Heroes follows three sisters who enlisted together in the United States Marine Corps.
