With so much unknown going into the 2020 season stemming from Covid -19, the one thing that is for sure is that Isaia Glass was born to be a Sun Devil.
The dominant Queen Creek Offensive Lineman gave a verbal commitment on July 23rd to Herm Edwards and the Arizona State Sun Devils’ faithful.
The 6-foot-5, 255 pounds 3 sport athlete has a multitude of universities to decide from. Glass has 19 scholarships, some from power five schools such as Oklahoma State, Oregon State, Iowa State, and Arizona State. When I asked about receiving the offer from his hometown team and playing in his backyard, he said, “It was big-time, it was cool. Honestly, it’s a lot of benefits of being in state. I was very excited when I first got the offer. It wasn’t automatic; I was going to commit to them. I had a lot of schools I had to consider, but when it came to deciding, they were my best all around.”
Where it all started
With Glass being the son of a former ASU Defensive Lineman Paul Glass who played at ASU from 1998-2002, you’d think the defensive side would be where Isaia made his name. It’s only been a year in the position since being converted his JR year from Tight end to Offensive Tackle.” I’m still pretty raw. It wasn’t too bad. I had the motor to kill whoever was in front of me.”
Like Father like son, he carries on the tradition of the number 73. “All my career, he has helped me. He’s letting me know to get better at. It was pretty much the Basics Explode of the Line.”
Glass attest both basketball and Track & field to him being the No.13 player in the state, according to 247sports.com. ” I think being active just because I love sports, but basketball with the footwork and being agile on the feet, and shot put and discus that’s an explosive movement.”

As our conversation proceeded, we discussed this week’s matchup’s significance and what it entailed to get the victory. The Queen Creek Bulldogs head into Friday’s game with a record of (2-2) vs. the Highland Hawks, who come in with an impressive record of (4-0).
With the confidence Isaia presented on the phone, I knew it was time to kick step into a game of PICK 6. Pick 6 gives a person two options, and they decide on which they prefer.
ISAIA’S Pick 6:
- Slam Dunk or Pancake Block= Pancake Block
- Van or Jordans = Jordans
- Attend A baseball game or Attend a Hockey game = Hockey game
- Offensive Line or Defensive line= Offensive Line
- Lebron James or Kevin Durant= Kevin Durant
- Apple products or Android Products = Apple Products
Tune in this Friday, October 30th at 7 pm on Yurview’s Gametime as the Queen Creek Bulldogs go toe to toe Vs. the Highland Hawks.
