San Diego Loyal SC is back for a full season of 34 matches, including 17 home games at the University of San Diego’s Torero Stadium. YurView will air 17 of those matches throughout the season starting with the March 12th home opener against LA Galaxy II.

San Diego Loyal Soccer Season Preview
San Diego Loyal SC finished the 2021 regular season with a record of 14-6-12 and secured their first playoff spot in just their second season. The Loyal is set to face southern California rivals and defending 2021 USL Champions Orange County SC three times this season: June 29 (home), July 30 (away), and Oct. 1 (away).
After last year’s schedule featured only one matchup against an Eastern Conference team, San Diego Loyal SC will face eight members of the Eastern Conference in 2022: FC Tulsa (March 23), Charleston Battery (April 9), Louisville City FC (April 16), Tampa Bay Rowdies (April 30), New York Red Bulls II (June 2), Hartford Athletic (June 11), Indy Eleven (June 25) and Birmingham Legion FC (Aug. 13).
San Diego Loyal SC made seven additions to bolster its roster in the offseason:
- New Zealanders Nikko Boxall (defender) and Kyle Adams (defender)
- Spaniard Koke Vegas (goalkeeper)
- American Nick Moon (forward)
- American Evan Conway (forward)
- Northern Ireland international Kyle Vassell (forward)
- American Camden Riley (defender)
In other offseason moves, the Loyal SC acquired Cameroonian forward Thomas Amang in exchange for midfielder Haji Abdikadir.
The team recently unveiled brand new home and away kits, including Rocket League as the new front-of-kit sponsor, and the club will debut its new home kit for the first time on Saturday, March 12.
