The status of softball in the state of Louisiana will be on display Tuesday night in Lake Charles. The 21st-ranked LSU Tigers head to southwest Louisiana to take on McNeese LIVE on Yurview. Coverage begins at 6pm from Cowgirl Diamond at Joe Miller Field.

The Cowgirls enter the contest with a 26-16 overall record but have not fared well against ranked teams. This season, MSU dropped games against #18 Texas and #1 Oklahoma, but did defeat ORV Louisiana. McNeese enters the week after winning a series against Southland rival Northwestern State.

The Tigers come into Tuesday’s game with a 27-16 record and ranked 21st in the country. LSU has won five of their last six games and are 2-0 against Southland teams this season.
