A strong week for the LSU Tigers continues as the Bayou Bengals pick up a 2022 commitment from Green Oaks star sophomore wide receiver DeColdest Crawford. At 6-1, 160 pounds, Crawford is a talented wide receiver that already held offers from Washington State, Colorado, and Southern University.

After playing sparingly as a freshman, Crawford really broke out in his sophomore campaign already with 30 catches for 691 yards and six touchdowns. One person that has noticed his talent early is Louisiana Football Magazine‘s recruiting guru Lee Brecheen, who saw Crawford play as a freshman.
“I saw DeColdest play as a true freshman against Loyola Prep,” Brecheen said. “I thought he was a SEC receiver then. He is definitely the best player to come out of Green Oaks since Tre’Davious White (LSU/Buffalo Bills).”
Crawford immediately committed to the Tigers after their impressive victory over the Auburn Tigers this past weekend. The Shreveport native is the second player in the 2022 class to commit to play at LSU.
