After another slow start, the San Diego Sockers stormed back to defeat El Paso 7-4 and improve to 8-1 on the season. With a great early start to the season, the Sockers open up a three-game lead in the MASL Pacific Division.
El Paso scored the first two goals of the game and took a 2-0 lead into the second period. Then the Sockers kicked it into high gear with Kraig Chiles and Brian Farber leading the way with two goals each and an assist. Sockers goalkeeper Boris Pardo had another terrific game stopping 15 El Paso shots.

Up next for the Sockers, they go on the road to play the Tacoma Stars Friday, January 18th at 7:05pm and then return home to face the Turlock Express Sunday, January 20th at 5:05pm.
