La’Mar Burks grew up near Tulsa’s Booker T. Washington High School dreaming of becoming a Hornet. He was a member of BTW’s 1973 state championship football team. Over the years his love for BTW Athletics led him on a multi-year odyssey to curate and document the outstanding athletic history of his alma mater.
