The 32nd Annual Mayor’s Cup men’s hockey game between Brown University and Providence College, Rhode Island’s only Division 1 Hockey Teams, will be televised on YurView. Since 1986, the inception of the Mayor’s Cup, Providence College has an 18-10-3 record advantage over Brown in Mayor’s Cup action.
Brown is looking to avenge last year’s 6-0 Mayor’s Cup loss to Providence. As past Mayor’s Cup action has proven, anything can happen in this game. Many fans remember 2015 when heavily favored Providence lost to Brown 5-3 after having fallen behind 4-0 earlier in the game.
