Locally Louisiana welcome Dr. Patricia Norwood, the Executive Director of Mirror of Grace Outreach, on the show to share just what Mirror of Grace Outreach is and how they are helping the community.
This incredible organization aims to be the light in the community to power, motivate and inspire everyone to be the best they can be.Beyond bringing resources to the community such as food and clothing, Mirror of Grace also provides educational programs. Their latest partnership with the Huey and Angelina Wilson Foundation has enabled them to add free computer training to anyone 18 and over who is looking to gain additional skills to be able to succeed in the workforce.
But let’s not forget their Parenting Wisely program. This foundational program is not meant to teach people how to parent, but instead to aid in methods of communication, mindfulness, problem solving and more.
