The YurView Arizona Game of the Week from Pinnacle High School. 2nd ranked Liberty vs 3rd Ranked Pinnacle. Highly touted Pinnacle’s Spencer Rattler getting things going early on with the Pioneers as they strike first with #23 Quinton Powell getting the TD and the first score of the night.
Liberty fires back with QB #9 Jonah Guevara engineering a drive down the field, 6 plays 71 yards and #6 Jett Kinsch with the stiff arm takes it in for 6.
A stalled drive by Pinnacle puts Liberty back in the driver’s seat and the Lions’ Guevara takes advantage of it. Slipping through heavy traffic like he was on the 101, past the Pioneers defense, and down the field for the score.
Spencer Rattler and the Pioneers come right back with Rattler connecting with #1 Kaleb Covington for 6.
Then Liberty’s TE #14 Michael Eyde with the score. And we saw #6 Jett Kinsche score earlier on the ground, he does it again from the air.
Rattler gets busy and the Pioneers respond with points when Rattler connects with #81 Shane Sunday.
With seconds left in the game, Liberty looking for the win, goes for it on 4th down. QB Guevara with the keeper, but he’s stopped, the sticks roll out, and the Lions are turned away.
The Pioneers and a happy Coach Dana Zupke celebrate the win, Liberty 33 Pinnacle 34. Rattler by the numbers 14-28, 156 yards and 3 TD’s.

With seconds to go Liberty looking for the win, goes for it on 4th down, Liberty QB #9 Jonah Guevara with the keeper is stopped short and Pinnacle wins 34-33.
