3. JSerra Catholic hosts tailgate for opponent
JSerra Catholic made a nice gesture prior to its playoff game against Oaks Christian this past Saturday.
Oaks Christian is close to the bar where 13 people were killed in a shooting last Wednesday. The school is also near an area that has been affected by wildfires.
So, JSerra Catholic expanded its pregame “fun zone” to host members of the Oaks Christian community for a pregame tailgate.
In the wake of the bar shooting and wildfires in the Thousand Oaks area, @JSerra_Football is welcoming its playoff opponent with a tailgate.
“We’re trying to be as hospitable as possible under such an awful situation.”
