Ford Game of the Week featuring the Norman Tigers vs Moore Lions – Thursday, September 9th at 7:00 pm CT.
For Norman, last year was spent on rebuilding. Hopes hang on Junior dual-threat QB Tias McClarty. Last week they were defeated by Norman North, so they’ll be looking for a win in week 2.
Moore is coming off a big win in their Moore War battle against Westmoore, their first after a 21-game streak of losses. At 2-0 on the season, they’re looking like a force to be reckoned with.
Moore and Norman are ranked as the #8 (Moore) and #9 (Norman) teams in Class 6A-I by Cameron Jourdan at the Oklahoman.

Friday, Sept. 10, 2021 – Oklahoma Ford Game of the Week
Ford Game of the Week: The Oklahoma Backyard Bowl featuring the Jenks Trojans vs Union High School – Friday, September 10 at 7:00 pm CT.
Jenks and Union clash in the 18th MidFirst Backyard Bowl. The two teams traditionally play at the University of Tulsa to accommodate large crowds, but this year’s matchup will take place in the newly renovated Union Tuttle Stadium.

Jenks (1-1) comes off of a close 23-15 defeat to the Oklahoma #1 ranked Bixby Spartans. Union defeated Broken Arrow 38-28 to come into this week’s big rivalry game at 2-0.
Jenks has won five of the last seven regular-season showdowns. The two programs have combined to win 22 of the last 25 6A state championships.

⭐ Season Preview: Marquee Matchups Highlight 2021 Ford Game Of The Week Schedule
Friday, Sept. 10, 2021 – Louisiana GameTime
Acadiana Rams vs Catholic (B.R.) Bears – Friday, September 10 at 7:00 pm CT.
A match-up between two of the best high school football teams in Louisiana. The Acadiana Wreckin Rams will cross the Atchafalaya Basin to take on the Catholic Bears.
Ranked as the #2 team in the state and #77 nationally, Acadiana is looking to win a third straight Class 5A championship. They will once again be talented on defense led by four-star cornerback Laterrance Welch, who is committed to LSU.
Catholic is ranked #1 in the state and #26 nationally. The Bears also feature an LSU commit – 6’4″/341 lb. offensive lineman Emery Jones also plans to be a Tiger. The Bears also have the best wide receiver in the state for the Class of 2023 in Shelton Sampson Jr., who had a breakout game in a semifinal victory over Brother Martin last season.
Acadiana also has defensive lineman Walter Bob, who is committed to Alabama.
These two teams played last year in Baton Rouge and Catholic won 27-21.

Friday, Sept. 10, 2021 – Omaha GameTime
Papillion La Vista South Titans vs Gretna Hawks – Friday, September 10 at 7:00 pm CT.
After last week’s fourth-quarter come-from-behind win against Lincoln East, it’s clear that the Titans can’t be counted out despite inconsistent performance this season. Look for a big ground game from QB Brady Fitzpatrick and RB Devyn Jones.
The Dragons are rated as the #7 team in Class A by NE Prep Zone. They’re 2-0 coming into this game, and that lends itself to confidence. Their major weapon is pro-style QB Zane Flores, who is 41 of 54 on the season.

Friday, Sept. 10, 2021 – Kansas GameTime Matchup
Wichita Kapaun Crusaders vs. the Wichita East Blue Aces – Friday, September 10 at 7:00 pm CT.
The Crusaders are coming off an authoritative 55-0 win against Wichita South last week. Under new Head Coach Weston Schartz this year, Kapaun could have a slate of new tricks up its sleeve.
They meet a fast but inexperienced Blue Aces squad, who’ll be ready for a win after their loss in last week’s non-conference game against Hays. Some say that East’s WR Caquoy Patterson is the fastest player in Kansas.
