The New Orleans Saints still have a chance to make the postseason, but time is running out. The Saints host division rival Carolina Sunday and the Black and Gold need to win and also need some help to reach the playoffs.
With only two games remaining, the Saints find themselves one game behind both San Francisco and Philadelphia for the final playoff spot.
The good news for New Orleans is that 15 of the 16 players sidelined due to COVID-19 will return to the field this week. Demario Davis, Kwon Alexander, Malcom Jenkins and Adam Trautman are the notable starters that will be back this week.
The Panthers will start Sam Darnold at quarterback. The former New York Jet replaces Cam Newton behind center. In week two, Darnold led Carolina to a 26-7 win over New Orleans.
