Replay of Ford Game of the Week: Millwood vs. Heritage Hall (Oklahoma) – Thursday, September 5, 2019
The Millwood Falcons came to Pop Murray Memorial Field to take on the Heritage Hall Chargers. The defending 3A champion Chargers were able to dominate the game. Quarterback Jackson Jobe connected with Payton Earnest early in the first quarter to give Heritage Hall a 7-0 lead. After a Millwood fumble, Jobe passed to Harvard commit Phillip Smitherman who took the ball down the sideline to the one. Then Robert Mbroh got the touchdown to make it 13-0.
Millwood suffered several injuries early in the game and turned the ball over four times. Three of those turnovers were interceptions by Chargers Nick Keith, Joe Washington and Jackson Jobe. Touchdowns by Jagger Ables and Jayden Williams gave Heritage Hall a 27-0 halftime lead.
A 23 yard td run by Colby Lewis in the third quarter made the final, Heritage Hall 34 Millwood 0.
Jackson Jobe was 12-17 passing for 139 yards. Phillip Smitherman had 5 carries for 63 yards and 4 receptions for 51 yards.
