The 2021-2022 Creighton Bluejays Women’s Basketball run to the Elite Eight was historic. Creighton upset Colorado, bested the Hawkeyes and downed No. 10 Iowa State 76-68. Creighton’s ride came to a close against No. 1 South Carolina, but the ride raised expectations for the 2022-23 season.
The combination of this deep run last season and the wealth of returning talent led to Creighton’s first preseason AP ranking, checking in at #21.
