The second episode of Dash to the Desert was taped immediately following Rhode Island’s heartbreaking loss to Oregon in the NCAA Tournament’s Round of 32, and Chris DiSano was on hand to give his reaction.
Rhode Island led late in the game, but in the end, Tyler Dorsey hit a clutch 3-point field goal to give the Ducks the win. Playing loose and on winning streak spanning more than a month, Rhody tightened up in the final minutes.
“Dorsey was able to use his length and athleticism to really get downhill and get to the rim. That got him going,” said DiSano. “He saw some jump shot opportunities, and to his credit, he knocked them down.”
