It may still feel like summer but fall is creeping up on us fast and soon you’ll be seeing the world in all things Pumpkin. From the kitchen to the craft room here are a few DIY ideas to help you get started on your pumpkin everything time of year.

Fall usually means the start of football season, so how about adding a new spin to a game day favorite? Try sneaking some pumpkin on to your tailgate table; these Roasted pumpkin nachos might be a savory fix for your pumpkin cravings. Instead of adding pureed pumpkin into a dessert, have it stand out in the main course. Just replace any meat with roasted pumpkin for nachos with a lighter feel.
Pumpkin Fudge
For those with a sweet tooth, why not try mixing up your Fall desserts and make pumpkin fudge this season! Our friend, Sam, at Sugar Spun Run shows us how this recipe for Pumpkin Spice Fudge couldn’t be simpler and doesn’t even require a candy thermometer. Once the fudge is set, try using pumpkin or leaf cookie cutter to create festive shapes with the fudge.
Pumpkin Spiced Avocado Smoothie
If you thought it was impossible to incorporate even more pumpkin into your Fall diet, fear not, this vegan pumpkin smoothie is a delicious treat. With all the right ingredients this fall smoothie is a great way to start your day or makes the perfect mid-day snack.

You can change your wall art to incorporate pumpkins too. With an old frame, velour fabric, buttons, and costume jewelry you can create an elegant DIY art fancy enough for the Great Pumpkin. First, stretch a piece of velour on the inside back board of an old frame. Next, on the velour canvas, use a paper stencil to make the shape of a pumpkin and create the outline by gluing down a gemstone necklace. Finally, fill it pumpkin outline with buttons and broken jewelry pieces to finish the look.

When October rolls around, you can almost guarantee to see carved pumpkins on all the doorsteps of your neighbors. Why not take things one step further this season by turning your front door into a jack-o-lantern. All you need is some solid orange wrapping paper, scissors and tape. Simply cut out a spooky face and tape the wrapping paper onto your front door. Throw some smaller pumpkins on both sides of the door for even more festive fun.
Pumpkin Toilet Paper Rolls
Since we’re flushing out all of the pumpkin DIY ideas, don’t leave your bathroom decor unattended. Wrap your extra TP rolls up in fall fabrics to create pumpkin decor for the potty. It’s easy, wrap your toilet paper roll with a square piece fabric, stuff the corners down the center of the tube, use a rolled up piece of brown paper or a cardboard rod for the stem and stick it down the center of the roll to hold it all in place, then add in a faux leave, tie on a ribbon and you’re good to go!
