Ian Austin converted the game-winning 32-yard field goal midway through the fourth quarter, as Santa Fe Christian edged Morse 24-22 in the quarterfinals of CIF Division II.
Santa Fe Christian recovered a fumble on the final drive to secure the victory. Santa Fe advance to face No. 1 The Bishop’s School in the semifinals.
Gavin Guldseth, Colton Lehberg and Kian Hogan each scored a touchdown for Santa Fe Christian.
Santa Fe Christian made enough impactful plays to emerge victorious in a game in which there were six fumbles.
