Weathervane Cottages: Glamping For The Holidays In Beautiful Portsmouth…
This holiday season, folks from both the local area and far beyond have a brand-new choice when planning a get-a-way. Located in Portsmouth, RI, Weathervane Cottages offers the shiny new experience of “Glamping.”
Combine time spent in nature and top tier accommodations and amenities for the perfect glamping experience. If you’ve been hoping for what might be called a boutique camping experience, Weathervane Cottages Glamping is waiting for you.
Co-Owner Eric Offenberg explains, “We call ourselves a glamping site. The benefit of that is you’re not a traditional hotel. You have opportunities here that you’re not going to find at a hotel or motel or a traditional B & B.”
A glamping site generally offers an upscale camping experience with additional amenities and comforts: opportunities u won’t find at a hotel. B and b. or motel. Weathervane specifically boasts a gorgeous two-bedroom bungalow, cottages as well as 4 glamping tent-sites.
The buildings are attractive, inviting and solidly constructed. Co-Owner Kevin Coristine adds, “After 30 years in construction I’ve had the luxury of seeing some really beautiful homes. I’ve worked with sone great designers over the years and I’ve been able to adopt a few looks that I sort of consider my signature look. A lot of them have been incorporated here.”
Time spent at Weathervane Cottages also makes a great holiday gift idea for the one you love. Can’t think of a better place to see out 2024 than by watching a beautiful Portsmouth sunset over the water from your cottage’s fire pit.
