Ashley had the chance to visit one of her favorite places in the 757- The Virginia Aquarium!
She is especially excited for this visit, because there is a brand new exhibit on the trail that connects the North and South buildings called “Trolls Save the Humans”.
Every 211th year, all of the trolls have a meeting. In their most recent meeting they decided that humans have stopped listening to nature, and that they should eat the humans!
But fear not: the six trolls who have taken up residence at the Virginia Aquarium are the small group who decided to save the humans.
Each troll has their own message of conservation to portray. They are larger-than-life, and will be hanging out at the aquarium all the way through January 20th, 2025.
The South Building at the aquarium is newly renovated, and it is magnificent!
There is an amazing jellies gallery, a touch pool where you can *pet a jellyfish*(!!!), and even an area where you can learn all about animal super powers.
The expansion includes a brand new area called “Windows Into Animal Care.” You can see real-life animal examinations, and kids can even interact with stuffed animals and pretend that they are veterinarians!
There is an awesome new topography exhibit that you truly have to see to believe!
