Santa Barbara County Education Office and Cox Communications celebrated its ninth annual A Salute to Teachers, awarding eight very deserving Santa Barbara County educators on November 5 at Music Academy. Since this community celebration began in 2013, teachers from across the county have been recognized for their commitment to teaching and learning.
The event honored the Santa Barbara County Teacher of the Year, Santa Barbara Bowl Performing Arts Teacher of the Year, three Distinguished New Educators, and three Distinguished Mentor award winners. Get to know this year’s honorees.
