In 2020 the Jenks boys basketball team qualified for the state tournament only join the ranks of disappointed teams when the tournament was postponed and then canceled by COVID-19. Jenks coach Clay Martin has his team in position to make another run to the state tournament this year. It hasn’t been easy. COVID-19 put him in the hospital and kept him out of his work as an NFL referee for several weeks. Now he’s hoping for a strong finish for the Jenks Trojans in 2021.
